Discover a country as large as Angola, a tourist destination with an emerging tourist destination, demand time and... money. If the duration of the stay can be extended, it will significantly reduce transport costs by avoiding domestic flights and rental of 4 x 4 vehicles; to reduce the "accommodation" invoice, choose the campsite. In any case, you will need time, and patience, for domestic flights whose delays are (very) frequent. The worst will have been 25 hours waiting for a flight TAAG Luanda - Malanje in 2013!

Details of the stay: Luanda and its region - 6 days

Day 1 : First steps in Luanda

Discover a country as large as Angola, a tourist destination with an emerging tourist destination, demand time and... money. If the duration of the stay can be extended, it will significantly reduce transport costs by avoiding domestic flights and rental of 4 x 4 vehicles; to reduce the "accommodation" invoice, choose the campsite. In any case, you will need time, and patience, for domestic flights whose delays are (very) frequent. The worst will have been 25 hours waiting for a flight TAAG Luanda - Malanje in 2013!
Visit of Fortress S. Miguel followed by Cidade Alta and Cidade Baixa. Visit of museums and churches. Walk late afternoon on Marginal from the port of Luanda. Dine in one of the many restaurants in the city centre.

Day 2 : Talatona, international district

Visit of Agostinho Neto Memorial and Talatona district. Go (or return) to make a boat from the commercial port of Luanda, and borrow for the other route the long Rua da Samba to discover all its shops and the "home" signs. Depending on the time devoted to the visit of Luanda, the season (cacimbo or rainy season), from your taste (beach or not beach), integrate on Day 1 or 2 the visit to the Ilha do Cabo in the day or evening or, even better, both.

Day 3 : De de Mussulo

Visit of the Museum of Slavery and excursion to the peninsula of Mussulo. The visit of this museum can also be programmed towards Kissama National Park, towards the beaches of Cabo Ledo or south of the country. Remember that it is highly recommended to leave downtown at dawn (or before dawn) for day trips or large trips to avoid losing a large number of hours in traffic jams.

Day 4 : Kissama National Park

Start the first day by visiting the National Park of Kissama and continue until Cabo Ledo for a afternoon and an evening on the beach.

Day 5 : Muxima

Another alternative from Cabo Ledo is to join Muxima before returning to Luanda. Lovers of history and built heritage can extend the "fortresses" route by visiting Massangano.

Day 6 : Miradouro da Lua

Return to Luanda the next day with a stop to admire the unique landscape of Miradouro da Lua followed by the artisan centre at the southern entrance of the capital.
