Details of the stay: Three days in Gozo - 3 days

Day 1 : First steps in Gozo

Arrival at Luqa Airport, transfer to Gozo Island by ferry from Cirkewwa (north of Malta). Then once arrived, lunch in one of the many very good fish restaurants on the port of Mgarr. Direction Victoria (or Rabat) in the center of the island. Visit of the very beautiful citadel just renovated (inaugurated in June 2016). Beginning of the visit to the brand new Visitor Center enjoy the citadel experience, 3 D projection offering a quick history of the island. Then return to the surface, visit the cathedral (4 €), different museums within the fortified alleys (National Archeology MuseumFolklore Museum, Museum of Nature and old prisons). Coffee or aperitif with view of Xewkija's rotunda in the distance. Once the sun becomes less torrid, shopping in the many artisanal boutiques in Victoria around St-Georges Square, visit the Basilica and then dinner on the square. A drink at Jubilee coffee will take you to the end of the night.

Day 2 : Farniente on beaches

If you are by car, direction Azure Window for sunrise, magic moment before the arrival of tourist coaches. Detour by his little sister, Fungus Rock. Then visit the Ta 'Pinu Basilica, Lourdes maltais. After this pilgrimage, the hungry belly, heading towards Marsalforn north of Gozo, where the restaurants occupying the seafront will bring you their lot of happiness. Once you've been picked up, small digestive walk towards the Calypso Cave with an unbeatable view of Ramla Bay. But if the warm sand is already invaded by bikinis, pick up the car and head towards the small nearby beach and more confidential of San Blas. A haven of peace, it deserves its 400 m de-leveled to do on foot (Possibility to pay a taxi for 1 €). A romantic dinner is required in Marsalforn, or in Sannat's sublime L-Iskoll restaurant.

Day 3 : Last walks

Morning in the temple of Ggantija at a time when the sun leads to the horizon. Then before returning to Malta, hook by the coves of Mgarr, Hondoq Ir-Rummian and Mgarr Ix-Xini. Or relaxing day by boat in Comino and return to La Valette late afternoon. End of air travel.
